Wendy Kaefer
Ms. Wendy is an advocate for the arts in our community. She started the Arts Alive program at Las Animas Elementary in 2008 and has been teaching art ever since. She has written many successful grant requests to help keep the arts in the public schools. She is married, has two talented daughters and a naughty dog. She loves going to the beach, spending time in San Francisco and being with her family.
Melissa Simpson
Melissa is a mixed media artist that runs an online ministry. She loves words and most of her art reflects places to journal as well as layers of textures and color. She is also a fiber artist that has been writing knitting patterns and creating custom knitting work for the last 10 years. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have 4 children together. She has been a homeschooling parent for years and is working on her degree in Psychology.
Sheryl Cathers
Sheryl is the owner and primary art instructor. She has many years experience teaching art.- 18 years at St. Mary School, grades K-8, City of Gilroy, etc. She opened dabble in 2010, when her youngest went away to college, to share her love of art with the community. many of Sheryl’s murals can be found throughout Gilroy. She works in oil, pencil, and acrylic commissions. She has 2 children. She and her husband Jeff love traveling, sailing, scuba diving and being close to the sea.
